You And I Have Changed
02:41
It’s a late night, the latest one so far, and the midnight sky - like your deepest scar. Outside, through the darkened trees, the world started turning while we were fast asleep. And I’ve always been there to help you out, and I’ve always been one to be around. But you and I have changed, and we could never be that brave. Where were you when I was ready to love again? You’re all alone here again, and you ain’t got no time to look for new friends. You ain’t got no one, you ain’t calling no one’s name. You’ve barely got the guts to live through this game. But I’ve always been there to help you out, and I’ve always been one to be around.

Looking For A Fight
04:29
Thinking about the day when my foot hit the ground, when I walked away with nothing in my hands. Then I came across a new place, when I stepped into your town, when my will to love was hanging by a strand. I’ve got to see your face, that’s why I’m standing out here at your door. And I know that it’s late, but I can’t wait to see you anymore. And then I see you coming around looking for a fight. I know you’re sick of me, but that don’t make it right. I’m looking for a way to figure all of this out, but it might not be the right thing for sure. I’ll look at you at night, from a different point of view, until your eyes can’t show me any more. Trouble’s never far away, and it crept in-between us once again. And just as soon as we’re falling back in love, it seeps through even though we’re on the mend. And now I see that the life that I want has only been the one from my memory. And how could I be sure that by now, after all this time, it’d be the one for me?

Override
03:09
You and I, it’s always the same thing, always looking for someone. We’re both listening, we’re hearing the same words, but we shouldn’t be talking to ourselves. I’ll ask you this time to override, spend the night, and wake up right next to me. I know your face. I know your image. I know you’ve never come this far. You say it’s not in your program. You loosen your grip on my hands. We’ve come too far this time just to watch it fall apart. So come back to me now. Override, spend the night, and wake up right next to me.

So Much More
03:49

It was nothing like I’ve ever felt before. We’re spending all our time together, we’re sharing our endeavors. It was nothing like I’ve ever known before. All the days we spent together made me feel much better. I asked if I could see you again, you said you wouldn’t mind, and our friendship now has become the type there’s little chance to find. And I know you so much more, remembering all the things we said before. I wouldn’t know what to do if I couldn’t be with you anymore. It was nothing like I’d ever had before. Spending all our time together, sharing our endeavors. You were nothing like I’d ever known before. I felt the days could last forever, the time we were together. Instead of holding back, I laid it on the wire. And our love has now become the type of which we’d never tire. And I know you so much more, remembering all the things we said before. I wouldn’t know what to do if I couldn’t be with you anymore. If you walked out my door I’d be waiting no more. And between us there’s nothing foreign, nothing that feels strange. If I went back to the day we met, there’s nothing I would change. ∙ My heart would be breaking for sure.
